On Friday, March 4th, nearly 200 Graham’s Foundation supporters gathered at the Carranor Hunt & Polo Club in Perrysburg for an amazing evening of drinks, dinner, inspirational talks, and an out of this world auction in support of our organization’s mission.

Charming hand painted “Graham’s Blue” terra cotta pots of yellow and white mini daffodils, cyclamens, hyacinths and primrose with wired butterflies swirling above the florals were sweet and cheery from Hafner Florist.
Thanks to the hard work of our staff, volunteers, and sponsors like Bionix Corporation, Dana Corporation, Hylant, Rudolph Libbe, Weber O’Brien Ltd., Huntington National Bank, Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP Dana Holding Corporation and Welltower, our latest Tinis for Preemies event was everything we could have hoped for and more. All in all, we had 40 amazing corporate and individual sponsors!
As always, longtime Graham’s Foundation supporter Tito’s Handmade Vodka was there crafting our custom ‘tinis but this year, we introduced “Graham’s Pub” featuring handcrafted brews from Catawba Island Brewing Company. And for those who preferred to sip something non-alcoholic, there were freshly brewed mugs of Graham’s Blend from Maddie & Bella’s Coffee Company.
The events strolling dinner options were global, encompassing dishes from Asia to Mexico courtesy of Balance Pan Asian Grille, Poco Piatti, Tom + Chee and Cocina de Carlos. Delicious sweets were provided by Sugar Bean – including some truly amazing cake pops!
During the evening, we had the pleasure of introducing our Graham’s Foundation 2016 Ambassador Family: Amanda and Seth Metzger, the proud preemie parents of triplets Abigail, Lauren and Samantha and two-year-old Elizabeth. The girls were on hand to offer a very moving visual presentation showing just how tiny preemies can be!
One very special highlight of the evening was Graham’s Foundation Founder and President Nick Hall serving as the night’s auctioneer! Thanks in part to the generosity of our auction item donors, we raised funds that will help us continue to fund our mission through the end of the year and into 2016.
While he did address the crowd to share statistics on premature births in the US and emphasize how Graham’s Foundation serves families touched by prematurity across the US, it was pretty clear he also had plenty of fun – as did all who joined us that night.
All of our Tinis for Preemies evenings are fantastic but we have to say that this one takes the cake because there’s nothing quite like bringing together some of our most loyal supporters with our newest supporters to celebrate what we’ve accomplished, right here in our hometown.
