What’s New at Graham’s Foundation in August
This has been an exciting summer for Graham’s Foundation! Changes to our care package fulfillment process and our partnership with Pampers have given us the tools we need to reach even more parents of preemies in the NICU. We’re also working hard to plan the second annual Parents of Preemies Day. And this year’s Golfing for Graham’s Foundation was bigger and more successful than ever! But that doesn’t mean we’re taking a summer vacation. In fact, we’re working harder than ever to meet the needs of moms and dads of preemies.
Graham’s Foundation and CanvasPop
First, we’ve developed and expanded some exciting partnerships, including a collaboration with CanvasPop that lets parents turn photos of their preemie babies and kids into beautiful works of art while supporting Graham’s Foundation. We’ve been busy uploading pictures and stories shared on the Parents of Preemies Day Facebook page to our Pinterest account to create amazing galleries of Hope, Resilience, and Miracles. Did you share your story? CanvasPop is offering a 20% discount (using the coupon code “Graham”) to anyone turning images from our Parents of Preemies Day Pinterest galleries into artwork – with 10% of proceeds benefiting Graham’s Foundation.
Host Your Own Local Parents of Preemies Day Event in 2013
Next, we are hosting two informational calls on August 23rd at 6 pm EST and August 25th at 1 pm EST to explain what’s involved in hosting a local Parents of Preemies Day event in 2013 and to answer any questions. If you are interested in bringing a Parents of Preemies Day event to your community, please email Erin at [email protected] and let her know what call you will attend. We can’t wait to help people bring official Parents of Preemies Day events to even more communities.
New On Our Blog
Finally, we’re excited to start featuring profiles of preemie parents on our blog and to introduce you to some of the cool things our supporters are doing to help us help moms and dads of preemies. Would you like to share your story right here on our blog? It’s a simple way to show new parents of preemies that they are not alone in what they are experiencing and to give them hope. Email [email protected] for more details.
